Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the King of Qawwali, was a legendary Pakistani musician. Born in 1948 in Faisalabad, Pakistan, he began performing Qawwali music at the age of 16 with his family's group, the Qawwali Party. Over the course of his career, he recorded over 125 albums and performed all over the world, earning him numerous accolades and awards. His music is a beautiful blend of traditional Sufi sounds and modern influences that continues to inspire and influence musicians to this day.
